Merry Christmas to everyone!!! This past Saturday I had to shoot a wedding, not a big deal, right? Wrong! It started snowing Friday afternoon and we just got a whole bunch of white stuff dumped on us. As I'm traveling to the location I begin to realize I need to climb up some very steep hills in Shelton, then another hill to get up the driveway, which took me three attempts to back in! Finally got there though and met the groom's family, and they were just a bunch of goof balls (like me!)
Colby's Dad owns a Tae Kwon Do school and that is how Glendys and Colby met, they have been dating for 10 years now.
Colby is a fireman and his brother is a police officer - so they kept going at it in a joking manner busting each others chops - the family was really close. Anyways, I wanted to share a bunch of favs, there is quite a few!
Start off with this amazing shot of Glendys having a little face paint applied!

I love the detail shots, especially the shoes, shoes shoes shoes LOL -

Another shot of the bouquet and shoes!

This has to be one of my favorites, after Glendys had all of her make up done and she was ready to head downstairs for the ceremony (which by the way took place outside brrr)

I really liked their house, it had so much character and so many neat places to shoot from, for example I'm up on the second floor looking straight down.

A little groom detail!

A little smooch detail in front of the fireplace!

After the ceremony, everyone came in for a bit to warm up then we went outside for some outdoor shots (brrr)

The back of the house had these huge amazing boulders and we went out there for a little while as well.

These guys were really into anything - I asked them if they would lie down on the floor as such, they said sure lets do it!

A little detail shot of the cake

This side view of Glendys is interesting - she can almost pass for Jolie!

Glendys had a few great ideas, such as this one!

Colby just struck up this James Bond style pose and I happened to nail the shot! He was definitely a trip!

Here is Glendys in the hall, just looking so lovely.

Another floor shot with a little spice this time!

I asked Colby if he would take the shoes throw them over his shoulder and give me a cheesy pose!

I had a great time guys, and looking forward to seeing you again soon!
