They went to Jared!

Jared James that is! Okay that was probably a little lame, but definitely dorkish enough for me!

On Monday evening I had the opportunity to shoot Jared, Ronnette, Grayson again and this little guy Noah has been around for just a couple of weeks. It was an exciting evening for everyone - I mean how could it not be with Grayson who is just around 2 and is just packed with energy! He helped me press the shutter for a couple of pictures of just Mom and Dad.

While I was getting my lighting set up little Grayson came over to the camera and put his face right up to the lens (a bit to close to focus) so I just laid on my back and took this first shot!

Their little pooch was such a super star, when I started taking the family portrait he just went up next to mom and sat there the entire time, I could not believe it! He/She was so cute I had to grab a shot.

Near the end of the evening while I was packing up, Grayson seemed to be losing energy fast, so he just kept plopping himself down.

These next two shots are just great, truly show the bond between Daddy (Jared) and baby Noah.

The expression in Jared's eyes says it all.

A cute one of Mom having a moment with Noah or thinking please don't keep me up tonight!!

Who would have thought of all the things in the world that would keep a little two year old busy as could be would be a cup full of ice! For those of you with a two year old, ya may wanna try this, it worked like magic...

At one point while Mom was feeding, Jared and Grayson got into a little tickling match, I was there just in time!

Finally a little close up shot of baby Noah!!!

It was a truly great time guys, you have been blessed with two beautiful Angels...

Triple D's in the Falling Snow!

Okay, the title! Trying to increase my web presence - that ought to do it, but I actually had the pleasure of doing a lil Christmas session with Dan, Diane and Dana!! Alas the three D's!

Diane had seen some of the images from Kerry & Joe's e-shoot and they thought it would be a great setting for some photos of their little angel Dana, who by the way is nicknamed Bugsy!!

So this past Sunday I traveled to Southford Falls in Southbury, it had just snowed the night before, I had two pair of socks on, a t-shirt, a mock turtle neck, another shirt and finally a sweatshirt :) My toes were still cold!!! It was a great session, the snow was falling down and every once in a while a big gush of wind would knock a chunk of snow on us, Miss Bugsy is learning quickly, she wanted her Dad to go first (smart little one)

Here are some of my favs from Sunday... Here Miss Bugsy was hanging on to this huge snow ball she made - you could see from the look in her eyes she was wanting to toss that thing at Daddy!

She was very cooperative during the session - I couldn't believe how much she has grown since last year when Dad wanted to surprise mom for Christmas with some photos of their daughter.

This next shot I was totally lovin - just the way her head was tilted, the expression on her face, it was great!

I asked her to look up a little and over - she went to the extreme but it was perfect it really detailed her eyes and lashes and can't forget about them charming snowman earrings!

It was fun guys - it was nice finally meeting you Diane!

Blue Christmas

Okay not a Blue Christmas in like the Elvis Blue Christmas, but blue in the sense of blue eyed angels :).. Last Sunday I had the opportunity to meet Kera, her two children, her husband Neil's sister and her children and a few other cousins! Six children and two adults were photographed and I must say I have never seen so many blue eyes, ya know those piercing blue eyes that just make ya stop and say WOW!

I found out at the end of the session that Kera was turning 30 the next day and her husband lined up a fantastic day for her, a nice lunch, a fine massage later in the afternoon.. There should definitely be more men like Neil! Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Neil on Sunday, cuz he was at the Patriots game.

There were a lot of amazing captures, so narrowing these down was tough, real tough.

I have to start with this shot of Kera who amazingly resembles at least in my opinion Lara Spencer (Kera / Lara) even sounds the same! She has that serious mischievous look / twinkle in her eyes and that little smirky grin!

This little one was so cute, her and her sister were so well behaved and so close, it was awesome, again check out those baby blues!

This was another little blue eyed blond who was just so adorable the entire time!

Here is Kera's lovely daughter - I liked this shot of her, the seriousness and that sort of are you done yet question in her eyes!

Kera's son and daughter with their cousins!

This has to be one of my all time favorites, I think I'm going to submit this next year for the cover of Professional Photographer - the expression, the feet, the eyes, the tilted head, those cheeks that ya just wanna squeeze!

Ya know there are the blue eyes then the ice blue eyes, and this little one definitely has it, much more prevalent in this image than the previous one of her.

We now know where these two little gems get their eyes from, here is mommy, she was wonderful in assisting me while I was getting set up, alas the straight-head-on exposure.

And one more of Kera, I really like this shot, it works well for her, I don't think she is too crazy about it though :(

Kera, it was great meeting you and your family. Happy Birthday once again!

Kerry & Joe e-Shoot

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to shoot Kerry and Joe's engagement session. They picked Southford Falls State Park in Southbury.

I would have thought that there would have been no one around, but holy cow, the park had as many people this past Saturday as I had seen last summer!

Kerry and Joe were so awesome to work with. Joe (as most guys seem to be) was a little resistant at first, but he loosened up pretty quickly. Kerry and Joe have been engaged for about two years now and their wedding date is March 21, 2009.

I had a whole slue of favorites but had to narrow it down, I still think this may be the most photos I've posted in a single blog entry!

Kerry was such a natural at the whole photography thing - perhaps she does some supermodel modeling on the side! She just was so natural the entire shoot. Joe was no amateur either, I would have to say for the most part he didn't even appear to know I was there!

The two were getting lost in the next few images at the covered bridge.

I think this was my favorite photo at the bridge, composition wise as well as their expressions.

I think its great when a couple just enjoys their own company, even if in front of some whacka-do with a camera -click-click-click-!

Kerry needed to "tinkle!" yup I said tinkle!!! LOL so after she got out of the bathroom, I of course thought it would be appropriate to get a shot of them under the toilet sign!

I saw this sign when I arrived, and knowing that Kerry is all of 98lbs I figured it would be pretty neat - Joe loved the idea, he said hell yea lets do that!

This has to be one of my favorites - just everything about it is so - I'm not sure [insert your own thoughts here!]

I really enjoyed the way they looked at each other through-out the session. So in love!

Another one under and in the covered bridge!

This looks like it could be an ad for something! The expression on her face is just awesome.

I had a great time guys, looking forward to your wedding and I hope its as nice out then as it was Saturday!

Turkey Day!

A month or so ago I had the great pleasure of shooting Travis Stuart Jr's Christening, and I've known the Foley family for about 20 years or so and while at the reception for little Trav the family asked if I had any plans for Thanksgiving.. I didn't - So they invited me! I said I would come as long as I could bring my camera :o) . Kristen had no problem with that at all!

Deanna's son Jack is just unbelievably photogenic just like his big sister. Here he was just sitting on the stairs relaxing.

Kristen and her lovely recent addition Travis Jr.

Big sis' Tyler, as said just so very photogenic, she was a little under the weather though :(

Not that it made much difference to her, because as I was walking down the stairs she sort of looked up with this face full of cream and gave me a little devilish look!

The lovely Jane along with her mom Debbie, this was the only time where Debbie didn't start waving her hands in front of me saying get outta here, stop!!!

I really like this tree Kristen has growing in her dining room and used it as a prop for several images. Here is Miss Jane once again, this time with a little smile!

Thanks everyone, it was a great holiday!
