Welcome Miss Sabrina

Congrats Erin & Lou - On Saturday I had the opportunity to meet Miss Sabrina, who was a mere 10 days old - she was so adorable. Very quiet and calm for the most part, but she got hungry during the session and Mom had to give her a bottle! She was so precious, here are a few of my favorites...

I loved the next shot - she was just grabbing that huge bow and just staring at the camera!

Her Mom has a thing for Longaberger, so I thought it would be cute to fit Sabrina in one of them!

Groove Time at JRoo's

This past Saturday I finally found some time to get out of the house, studio, etc. I headed up to JRoo's in North Haven to hear one of my favorite local bands play. "Groove Time" - their MySpace page is "here" is awesome if you like Motown, 70's and 80's disco and more. Doug (singer), Patti (singer), George (guitar), Mark (sax), Dominic (bass), Carl (keys) and Pat (drums) are simply awesome.

Here are a couple of my favs that evening...

You guys are always right on - if you're interested in seeing GTB play, they are at JRoo's every month and 313 in West Haven every month.

Just a Gathering

So last weekend was pretty busy photo-wise and on Sunday I was invited over to a friends house who was having a little get together as his daughter was up visiting from Florida for a few days. I decided to go, and of course had my gear with me as I knew there would be an opportunity for some great snaps.

Below is the lovely Miss Julianna who happens to be the first grand child of the guy who invited me over! She is so gosh darn beautiful!

This shot was great because of the high-profile individual in the photo, you can see that he is being protected by the secret service (grandpa of the little girl above!)

I didn't even realize I took this picture, this here is the secret service agents son - who happens to be the father of Miss Julianna! When I saw this image it struck me - he looks like an ex-Abercrombie model in desperate need of work (just kidding Jeff)

Finally one more shot of Miss Julianna - she actually was feeding the dog and she was so darn ecstatic to have someone there her size..

Jay & Joce's e-Shoot

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to meet with Jay & Joce for the first time and shoot their engagement. They were both a trip - they met several years ago, and apparently Jay doesn't remember meeting Joce as when Joce remembers meeting Jay, wow that was confusing! Needless to say they are so darn happy with each other - except Jay broke one of the biggest rules of all time - don't mess with her hair!!! Speaking from experience, its just a no-no - sure its okay if the wind is blowing 75mph, sand is kicking up all around ya, but don't touch the hair hehehe -

You guys looked awesome, it was tough picking just a couple photos for sure. Here are a few of my favs.

Vision's CD Release Party

It seems everyone and their brother is blogging and thought I ought to jump on the blog-wagon :o) Friday night I had the opportunity to shoot an original band "Vision" at "Cooks Cafe" in Naugatuck. It was their CD release party, they had a ton of CD's and t-shirts and it seemed that the entire front row was lined with people and their cam-corders!!!

We took some shots outside of the bar, the area was awesome and had a grungy feel to it, fire escpapes, brick walls, old signs, huge empty rolls of wire. It was the perfect setting..

One of my favorite shots of the drummer - she was so cool :o)

Great job guys and wish you lots of success..
