Alma & Joshua Murphy

Last Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot Alma & Josh's wedding at Corpus Christi church in Wethersfield with the reception following at Glastonbury Hills Country Club!

It was a great day weather wise, but in the afternoon following the ceremony it definitely looked like rain was gonna fall, so the wedding party decided since they had several hours to kill to head on over to the Diamond Pub & Grill in Glastonbury for a bit before heading to their reception.

Here are several favorites starting with some of the details!

Alma and her Dad walking down the aisle - her Dad was totally awesome to work with!

As everyone was sharing a little peace Alma went over to one of the flower girls and I nabbed this shot!

Alma & Josh outside of the church

This was pretty funny, as Alma & Josh were standing next to the sign one of Joshua's friends yelled, yup, yup better get a picture of that because that's what will be coming between you two in a few years!

Some of the reception details! I love chocolate, I should have grabbed one of the candy bars!

A little bit gloomy outside, but we managed!

Alma's sister was speaking during the multi-toast reception and Alma got a little choked up and Josh was quick with the hanky!

I was about 15 feet away when I saw this little girl go down on to the floor and I literally felt like I was sliding into home plate to nab this shot!

Love this shot of Alma's Dad

Joshua's niece - not exactly sure what was going through her mind !!!

A little dance later in the evening...

I absolutely adored this image of Alma's brother with his daughter..

You guys were totally awesome to work with as was Rob (the DJ) - I hope you guys are enjoying your two weeks in Hawaii!

St. Louis Trip

So I had to go out to St. Louis for a few days to lend some technical expertise.. I brought my camera along and managed to grab a few shots.

I took this shot from my hotel room - I'm glad the window was pretty clean!

Snapped one off of the hotel lobby. Grand Renaissance Hotel on Washington in St. Louis

A shot from within America's Center where the meetings were held.

Bowling night! Everyone went bowling, they rented a room with their own lanes - I just thought this sign was pretty cool - but who names a bowling alley Flamingo LOL

Shannon & Rob's e-Shoot

Thursday night Shannon and Rob came down to Milford for their engagement session. We started off out here in Woodmont and then made our way downtown and ended up at another beach to grab the sunset.

These guys were way cool to hang out with, I really had a great time. It ended up cooling down pretty quick around 7ish or so and I think I saw Shannon shivering :( -

Here are a few of my favorites from their session, starting with one of the last few photos, a little silhouette action going on here on the pier.

The next couple shots were taken underneath the railroad tracks down on River St. The light blowing through the openings of the bridge walls was awesome.

We made it down to the duck pond area to capture a few images there as well.

I freaking just love the way Rob is looking at Shannon in this pic, its awesome!

As we were walking, I found this little area buried on the other side of the duck pond at the bridge.

Under another bridge by the library leading up to the duck pond.

This shot was taken down at the marina behind Archie Moore's.

I had a great time guys and am looking forward to your wedding!

Lucy's Birthday at Black Bear Saloon

Since the weather turned out to be pretty bad, a previously scheduled engagement session was postponed. I was invited by Lucy and family to her birthday party at Black Bear Saloon this past Saturday and of course had to bring my camera with me!

Lucy actually turned 39 - I previously posted 40 and - well - I made a mistake! I had a great time, so much so, I only expected to be there a couple hours and ended up staying until about 1:30 in the morning. The band, Full Circle was an awesome cover band, be sure to check out their site.

One of the many shots of Lucy during the evening!

Here you can see what a great time Lucy and her husband Tony-not-Anthony-unless-you-are-my-mom are having!

Lucy with some of her friends after they were doing a little shoe swapping!

Lucy's sister Claudia just looking great as usual!

Lucy didn't have time to introduce me to all of her friends and family, but I did manage to get a group shot in... :)

Actually I didn't realize how big this place was when I first walked in, it's pretty huge.

I had a great time and thanks again for the invite!

Jared James

On Tuesday I had the opportunity to do a session with Jared. He needed some photos for his new website launch which will be happening soon.

The session was mostly a chroma key session - the most ugliest lime green background humanly available. Those who remember the 70's well, I am sure you had a shag carpet that closely resembled the color, just to give you an idea!

He was a regular super-star and I think after the session and reviewing the photos he realized he has a better side :)

Here are a couple from the session.

It was great working with you Jared... Look forward to your upcoming website launch!

Hosting Changes

Folks, the website was down for 14 hours yesterday and I apologize, as a result, I cut loose my existing hosting company and signed up with a different one.

It may take a while for everything to propagate internationally, so please pardon any errors you may receive in the next 24-48 hours as it is out of my control.
