Baby Alexis!

Yesterday morning I had the pleasure of meeting Baby Alexis! She didn't go down for her nap as planned prior to my arrival so she was a little cranky.

Alexis is cared for during the day by her great grandmother who cared for Alexis' mom when she was just a little one herself!

Here are a few of my favs!

She is just so adorable! It was nice meeting you Miss Alexis!!! You were such a ham!

Christmas Eve '08

Okay, I have been living in this condo complex since January of 2005, and have some really terrific neighbors, I'm pretty sure they think I'm a nut most of the time, especially every Christmas Eve.

Each year my neighbor directly next to me and across the hall from her have their families over, my neighbor usually invites me over for some food and such, this year was no exception. I usually wind up heading over there around 9ish or so with camera in hand!

I'll be honest, I have never heard someone describe in such detail what they wanted to do with my camera if I took a pic of them, I was quite impressed with the thoroughness and foresight this very lovely lady had!!!

Here are a few images from last night...

I wasn't exactly sure what this was until today - its a gigantic rice crispy treat!!!

Brian, my neighbors son - he really is not a mad man, although he does resemble one here!

Brian's cousin Jess - she brought over a huge pile of cookies, I asked her if she made them in her easy-bake (she's young!) - her mom said yea she started cooking them last spring!

Brian's niece "CK" - since I am not sure on how to spell her first name nor whether it begins with a C or a K, CK will suffice!

I'm not exactly sure who this guy is, his name is either Tim or Sean but definitely is Peg Bundy's son - he has lots of aliases!

CK caught snoozing - with one eye open!

This guy was out cold, but he had a smile on his face - I wonder what he was dreaming of? Perhaps that Santa Claus was going to be treating him well in the morning!

A very rowdy bunch for sure, specially the last two :)

Glendys & Colby (White Wedding - Literally)

Merry Christmas to everyone!!! This past Saturday I had to shoot a wedding, not a big deal, right? Wrong! It started snowing Friday afternoon and we just got a whole bunch of white stuff dumped on us. As I'm traveling to the location I begin to realize I need to climb up some very steep hills in Shelton, then another hill to get up the driveway, which took me three attempts to back in! Finally got there though and met the groom's family, and they were just a bunch of goof balls (like me!)

Colby's Dad owns a Tae Kwon Do school and that is how Glendys and Colby met, they have been dating for 10 years now.

Colby is a fireman and his brother is a police officer - so they kept going at it in a joking manner busting each others chops - the family was really close. Anyways, I wanted to share a bunch of favs, there is quite a few!

Start off with this amazing shot of Glendys having a little face paint applied!

I love the detail shots, especially the shoes, shoes shoes shoes LOL -

Another shot of the bouquet and shoes!

This has to be one of my favorites, after Glendys had all of her make up done and she was ready to head downstairs for the ceremony (which by the way took place outside brrr)

I really liked their house, it had so much character and so many neat places to shoot from, for example I'm up on the second floor looking straight down.

A little groom detail!

A little smooch detail in front of the fireplace!

After the ceremony, everyone came in for a bit to warm up then we went outside for some outdoor shots (brrr)

The back of the house had these huge amazing boulders and we went out there for a little while as well.

These guys were really into anything - I asked them if they would lie down on the floor as such, they said sure lets do it!

A little detail shot of the cake

This side view of Glendys is interesting - she can almost pass for Jolie!

Glendys had a few great ideas, such as this one!

Colby just struck up this James Bond style pose and I happened to nail the shot! He was definitely a trip!

Here is Glendys in the hall, just looking so lovely.

Another floor shot with a little spice this time!

I asked Colby if he would take the shoes throw them over his shoulder and give me a cheesy pose!

I had a great time guys, and looking forward to seeing you again soon!

A Little Newborn Elf!

Okay, its Friday night, snow started pounding down here around 11:30 this morning and lucky for me I was home by noon :) Christmas is just 6 days away and I'm sure everyone has been running around like mad getting all of that last minute shopping done!!!

On Sunday, I was once again sequestered by Kristin & Travis to get a little Christmas cheer photo session going. This was the third time I have been there this year - that is so awesome! If anyone reading this has been to Monroe, NY - you definitely know there are some serious outlets up there, and Kris & Trav kinda live, like, right there - I happened to make a wrong turn this time and ended up feeling like a mouse in a maze - people were absolutely crazy in that parking lot!!!

It was a great time as always, and here are a few of my favs... Starting with Tiny Travis who had the whole Santa / Elf hat thing going on!

Mom, Dad and the little one - check out them cheeks!

I really feel bad for certain animals sometimes - the things their owners do to them just blows my mind!!! LOL - Ya gotta love Kris' sense of humor!

Poor Jack - he is smiling here but he wasn't smiling a bit later - poor little fella got so sick - poor Oriental rug too!

Lil Trav is just so chunky - look at those arms - :)

I really loved this shot of Mom and Dad!

This has to be one of my favorites... Niccoh (sp) and Sparky just hanging out on the stairs!

I had a great time guys - I hope you and your entire family have a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic new year...

Daddy's Christmas Gift!

So I get a phone call a few weeks ago from Nina, who was referred to me by Marisa. She left a voice mail asking a few questions and also indicated that she didn't want her husband to know as she wants to surprise him for Christmas.

We could never connect and with a newborn in the house, its hard sometimes to get to the phone, so we would text and email back and forth for about a week when we finally settled on a date/time for the session, which was this past Saturday.

I was scheduled to arrive around 1pm - but didn't want to pull up to the house if Daddy was still home, so I sat in the Motor Vehicle Department's parking lot waiting for the green light. Jack (Daddy) knew Nina (Mommy) was up to something, eventually he left. She gave me the green light and I headed over.

Here are some of my favorites from the shoot...

Just love this next shot of mommy kissing Noah's tummy.

He looks like a super baby gap model here - cheesin it up for the camera!

I just loved the expression on Noah's face and the direction of Mom's hands just reaching out caring for her child - priceless

This is definitely one of my favorites just Noah reaching out to Mommy and the feet, etc. it all just came together so well.

Another one of those emotional shots in which so little says so much.

This next shot just shows how much love and how strong a connection these two share!

It was finally nice to meet you Nina!! I hope Jack enjoys the surprise!
